Me again.

I have started and stopped so many blogs.

In high school, my best friend and I started a Lady Gaga fan blog that was written in the style of William Carlos Williams. We thought we were hilarious.

In college I wanted to be funny, so I published my own internet deep-dive listicles, parody fashion manifestos, and anything else I could think of that might get attention. It half-worked.

After college, I blogged about new adult life in Chicago. I told stories about buying furniture on Craigslist from a cute guy named Dave, and awkward gynecologist appointments that I now realize were pretty normal. They were too-confident toes stuck into the waters of personal essay. I can’t even begin to guess how to log into that account now.

I had a really earnest Tumblr with a terrible name. I deleted it only recently, but sometimes I had nightmares about the secrets I had left out to dry on the internet.

Finally, there was the website with my name on it and the blog that went with it. That was okay—maybe pretty good at times—but it got hacked, and now here we are.

It took an embarrassing amount of calls and tickets submitted to various tech supports to get this site up and going again. I don’t love technology. But here I am, with my brand new creamsicle website, ready to keep pumping stuff out as often as I’m able. Join me?
